From the doorstep
The location of the cottage on a stunning white sandy beach, within Balranald RSPB Reserve, means you have plenty to explore on the doorstep. The light is constantly changing and has the special clarity you find on the West coast which artists and photographers will appreciate.
Every time you walk from the cottage there is a special moment to enjoy, whether it is a sighting of an Eagle, Otter or the Wading birds displaying over the Machair. In summer the scent of the flowers on the Machair drifts to the garden.
Wild swimming in the turquoise clear water, kayaking, kite surfing and rock pooling are all within 5 minutes walk and can be accessed directly from the garden.
